Mark and David are friends experienced war photographers are capturing images of a war-torn Kurdistan. Mark is very ambitious and wants to keep fighting a few days, looking the picture of the year, but David is sick of dust, despair and violence and leaves to return home with his pregnant wife. When Mark returns home bloodied and bruised, he was surprised, although in principle is concerned to learn that David has failed to return home. Elena, the wife of Mark, is concerned about both. Mark is exhausted, disoriented and unable to resume his old life in Dublin.
