Review:
In three years after being forced to leave the White House, Nixon (Frank Langella) remained silent. However, in the summer of 1977, the wily and cold ex-chief agreed to a single interview and answer questions about its mandate and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting David Frost (Michael Sheen) as his televised confessor, sure I could with the breezy British and win the hearts and minds of Americans. Frost's team was not sure the journalist was able to lead to Nixon where he wanted. But as cameras rolled, the battle began. Would Nixon evade questions about his role in one of the greatest disgraces the nation? Frost would require clear answers "the man who came to power as the master of stonewalling? During the interview, each man would reveal his own insecurities, ego and reserves of dignity, to finally reach a stunning display of unvarnished truth. The film not only recreates the television interview, but the weeks of negotiations and maneuvering between the two men and their teams, in which agreements were made and secrets revealed until the climax in which they sat in the public .
